The Italian mezzo soprano Anna Pennisi is pursuing a very successful career, which has already led her to perform, among others, on the stages of the Opéra national de Paris (Le Nozze di Figaro, La Traviata, La Fanciulla del West, Die Zauberflöte, L'Italiana in Algeri, La Cerisaie ...), the Glyndebourne Festival (Rusalka), the Rome Opera (Carmen, Madama Butterfly ...), the Rome Opera (Carmen, Madama Butterfly ... ), the Stadttheater of Klagenfurt (Cosi fan tutte, I Capuletti e i Montecchi, A Midsummer Night's Dream ...), the Berlin Philharmonic (Rusalka), the Teatro San Carlo of Naples (Madama Butterfly), the Teatro Comunale di Mantova (Nabucco, Cavalleria Rusticana), the Teatro Massimo di Palermo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia, I Puritani), the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Dido and Aeneas), the Opéra de Toulon (Le Nozze di Figaro), or the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) ...

Member of the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Paris from 2011 to 2013, she has performed on the stages of Bastille and Opéra Garnier in numerous productions and concerts; she has since had the opportunity to sing under the direction of conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda, Nicola Luisotti, Evelino Pido, Daniel Oren, Riccardo Frizza, Carlo Rizzi, Yves Abel, Giacomo Sagripanti, Matteo Bletrami, Jesus Lopez Cobos, or John Neschling.

To be noted for the season 2020-2021 : Dorabella    (Cosi fan tutte) at the Antwerp Opera and the Newspaper Merchant (Les Mamelles de Tirésias) at the Oviedo Opera.
