Isabelle Druet sings Ravel

with the Orchestre national de Lyon

This week, mezzo-soprano Isabelle Druet is back in Lyon (France) with its National Orchestra and the American conductor Leonard Slatkin. She will be on stage for two concerts which program is based on Ravel's and Rachmaninov's work. On this occasion, she will sing the Three poems of Mallarmé, composed by Ravel.

After a season marked by a great Carmen in Saint-Etienne and a superb Cassandre at the Berlioz festival, we can find among her projects for the 2019/2020 season the role of Béatrice (Berlioz's Beatrice and Bénédict) at the Cologne Opera, Ravel's Scheherazade with Les Siècles (conducted by François-Xavier Roth), Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été with the Douai Orchestra, the role of Triton (Coronis by Sebastián Durón) on tour in France with the Poème Harmonique, Duruflé's Requiem with the Choeur de Radio France, or Debussy's Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra.
