Levent Bakirci, a Turkish Don Giovanni in Santiago

at the Opera nacional de Chile

Just after singing the roles of Papageno (The Magic Flute) and Marcello (La Bohème) at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, baritone Levent Bakirci flew to Chile and its famous Opera Nacional, to perform a master piece of the lyrical repertoire, the title role of Mozart's  Don Giovanni.

Member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, he already sang in this house  roles like  Taddeo (L'Italiana in Algeri), Donner (Das Rheingold), Andrey Shchelkalov (Boris Godunov), Zurga (Les pêcheurs de perles),  the title role of Don Giovanni ,  Marcello ( La Bohème),  Il conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro),  Escamillo  (Carmen), as well as Dr. Falke  (Die Fledermaus).

Among Levent Bakirci recent appearances, let us quote too his debut in the title role of  Dallapiccola's  Il Prigioniero , at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Mercutio (Roméo et Juliette by Gounod) with the Münchner Rundfunk Orchester, as well as Captain Ahap (Moby Dick) at Teatr Wielki Opera Narodowa Warsaw.
