L'Italiana in Algeri

Stopovers in Paris and Tourcoing for Anna Reinhold and Renaud Delaigue

On May 20th the Premiere of Italiana in Algeri (Rossini) will take place at the Théâtre Municipal Raymond Devos in Tourcoing. Mezzo-soprano Anna Reinhold will debut in the title role of the beautiful and desired Isabella, while Renaud Delaigue will be Haly, the devoted servant of Mustafa.

Jean-Claude Malgoire will conduct the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing and the production is staged by Christian Schiaretti. After Tourcoing, two more performances in Théâtre des Champs Elysées which is an opportunity for Renaud Delaigue to find Rossini once more in this theater (he performed Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia).
For Anna Reinhold it will be her lyrical debut on this prestigious stage, after a noteworthy Mozart's Requiem last season (still under Jean-Claude Malgoire's baton).

This summer, Anna Reinhold is invited by the Chamber Music Festival in West Cork in Ireland for several concerts from Montéclair to Janacek. With the lutenist Thomas Dunford, she will interpret the program Labirinto d'Amore and will be part of Teatro dei Sensi, a program built by Leonardo García Alarcón and his Ensemble Cappella Mediterranea around Cavalli's operas.

Renaud Delaigue will travel to Switzerland to sing the program Capriccio d'amore with the Ensemble Chiome d'Oro before performing again with this ensemble for a creation Giona. He will also have the opportunity to perform several times and throughout the 2016-2017 season with the ensemble Clément Janequin with whom he frequently collaborates.
