International news for the next couple of weeks.
First at the USA, where tenor Jean -François Novelli is from 14 to 16 novembrer at the Lincoln Center (New York) for Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria (Monteverdi) with the Ricercar Consort and the Handspring Puppet Company with Philippe Pierlot (musical director) and William Kentridge (director).
In Hungary, baritone Thomas Dolié sings on 15 november at Budapest the bass solo of the "Messiah" of Georg Friedrich Handel.
In Japan, soprano Sayaka Takahashi gives on 24 november a recital at Yokohama with Dalton Baldwin and songs of Debussy, Fauré, Poulenc, Paladilhe, Delibes
and Bachelet.
In Germany, soprano Sara Gouzy sings the role of Flaminia (Haydn's Il
Mondo della luna) at Munich with Kammeroper München Orchester (25 and 26 november).
Finally, back to France with Orphée aux enfers of Offenbach where baritone Marc Mauillon returns to the role of Mercury under the baton of Laurent Campelone and directed by Ted Huffmann on 22, 24, 25, 27 and 29 November. A Co-production Opéra national de Lorraine, Angers Nantes Opera and Folies lyriques Montpellier, created in Nancy on December 29, 2015.
