To begin the season, Thomas Dolié continues his collaboration with the conductor György Vashegyi, the Orfeo Orchestra and the Centre de Musique baroque de Versailles, singing the role of Danaüs (Hypermnestre de Gervais) in Budapest a few days ago. He will be back to Hungary in March 2019 for the role of Phinée (Jephté de Montéclair).
Next month, he will be at the side of the ensemble Les Surprises and Les Chantres of the CMBV to sing Hylas in Issé by André Cardinal dit Destouche at the Festival Baroque de Pontoise and at the Opéra Royal de Versailles under the baton of Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas.
In Toulouse, he will be Fritz in Die Tote Stadt by Erich Wolfgang Korngold in November and December, directed by Leo Hussain and staged by Philipp Himmerlmann.
After a season marked by his debut at the Opéra national de Paris in the role of Ramiro (L'Heure Espagnole, Ravel) and his premiere as Golaud (Pelléas and Mélisande) in Bremen (Germany) with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, the 2018/2019 season of Thomas Dolié will be include the roles of Hermann and Schlemil (Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Offenbach) at the Musikfest Bremen with Les Musiciens du Louvre by Marc Minkowski ; he also perform again Ramiro (L'Heure espagnole) alongside conductor François-Xavier Roth with Les Siècles ensemble in Aix-en-Provence, Evian-les-Bains, Grenoble and Soissons, and at the Barbican Center in London with the London Symphony Orchestra, he sings Bach's St John Passion with the Accentus choir and Insula Orchestra at the Seine Musicale (Paris suburb), Mahler's Lieder eines farhenden Gesellen at the Opéra de Limoges, the role of Thésée (Phèdre by Lemoyne) at the Arsenal of Metz and at the Opera de Limoges.
