Welcome to young baritone Felix Gygli

among RSB Artists!

 

A member of the french Generation Opera 2022 and a Young Artist at the National Opera Studio in London this season, Felix Gygli is a recent graduate of the Guildhall School of Music in London, having studied with Rudolf Piernay and previously with Gerd Türk at the renowned Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

The recipient of numerous grants (Rahn Kulturfonds, Robert Easton, LIEDBasel Festival), he also distinguished himself in the field of recital, being named Leeds Lieder Young Artist 2022, reaching the finals of the Schumann Competition 2021 and receiving two Prizes at the Gordes International songs Competition 2021.

At the beginning of the season he made his debut as Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) for the Ouverture-Opera in Sion and will soon sing his first Elijah with the Laudate Chor Zürich in Switzerland.
