Fantasio in Paris

Kevin Amiel is Max

First performed in the Opéra Comique in 1872, Fantasio (by J. Offenbach and A. de Musset) comes back to his roots...with some particularity any way : The Opera Comique being still closed for renovation, the performances will take place in Théâtre du Châtelet.

The score, recently formed again (in 2013), will be conducted by Laurent Campellone and staged by Thomas Jolly.

Marianne Crebassa promises to be a wonderful Fantasio, accompanied in his adventures by Max, played by young tenor Kevin Amiel

Kevin Amiel is one of the most talented tenors of the new generation. We could hear him this 2016/2017 season in the role of Paris (La Belle Hélène by Offenbach) at the Théâtre de l'Odéon in Marseille, Flavio (Bellini's Norma) at the Opéra de Saint Etienne. And he will be soon Malcolm (Verdi's Macbeth) at the Opéra Grand Avignon, and respectively Gherardo and Commendatore in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and Rota's La Nuit d'un neurasthénique, at the Opéra de Montpellier.

Fantasio (J. Offenbach)
