Frédéric Caton and Edwin Fardini sing Roméo et Juliette

At Teatro alla Scala di Milano

A few weeks after baritone Thomas Dolié, two of our artists share the stage at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, in the persons of bass Frédéric Caton and baritone Edwin Fardini.

This time we will have the pleasure of hearing them in Gounod's Romeo and Juliet, alongside soprano Diana Damrau and tenor Vittorio Grigolo; they will sing the roles of Count Capulet (Frédéric Caton) and Count Pâris (Edwin Fardini), under the direction of Lorenzo Viotti.
Our beautiful Milanese winter continues, with two artists in the ascendancy!
We will indeed find Frédéric Caton again in the roles of Merops and Saturn (Lully's Phaeton) at the Nice-Côte d'Azur Opera, then that of Zuniga (Carmen) at the Marseille Opera, before ending his season at the Chorégies d'Orange, for the Second Philistine (Samson et Dalila by Saint-Saëns) alongside Roberto Alagna, Marie-Nicole Lemieux and Ludovic Tézier.

The young baritone Edwin Fardini, after singing Kurt Weill's Seven Deadly Sins at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, will be invited to the Glyndebourne International Festival as a young guest artist for the productions of Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites (role of the Second Commissioner), then Beethoven's Fidelio (role of the Second Prisoner).
