At the Opéra de Limoges on november 2 and 4, 2016, Bass Frédéric Caton sings Arkel in the new production of Debussy's Pelléas et  Mélisande (Conductor: Robert Tuohy / Stage director: Stéphane Braunschweig.

After a 2015/2016's season with several highlights: collaboration with conductor Emmanuelle Haïm for Cavalli's Xerse production at the Opéra de Lille, the Théâtre de Caen and at Theater an der Wien (Austria); Pedro in Béatrice et Bénédict at the Brussel's Théâtre de la Monnaie and at Glyndebourne Festival; Bartolo and Antonio in Le Nozze di Figaro during a french tour with the Cooperative Opera, Frédéric Caton come back during the 2016-2017's season at the Opéra de Dijon, where he sings Plutone (Monteverdi's L'Orfeo); is invited by the Orchestre régional Avignon-Provence for The Creation (Haydn) and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg for un recording of Les Troyens (Berlioz). He also sings Osmin (Die Entführung aus dem Serail / Mozart), with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris.
