Quito Gato
Born in Buenos Aires, he graduated in piano and guitar from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música Carlos López Buchardo in Argentina. He then took various advanced courses in conducting, composition, recorder and percussion, in his own country and in Santiago de Chile, Brasilia, Curitiba and Boston.
Since 1992 he has studied and worked in the field of early music with period instruments such as the lute, baroque guitar, vihuela and theorbo under the direction of Hopkinson Smith and Eduardo Egüez.
He has performed as director, soloist and member of various ensembles in the main theatres of South America, the United States and Europe. He has also toured extensively in Asia, presenting concerts of Spanish-American baroque music in Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia and India among others.
He collaborates regularly with the ensembles L'Arpeggiata, Cappella Mediterranea, Le Concert d'Astrée, The Rare Fruits Council, Ensemble Clematis, Les Agremens, and Capilla Real de Madrid.
He has held lute and basso continuo seminars in Argentina, Brazil, Spain and France. In 2007, he founded the Glossarium ensemble, with which he tackles various programmes from the Spanish and South American Renaissance and Baroque periods.
He has made numerous recordings for the Virgin, Naive, K617, Alpha, Naxos, Sony, MA Recordings, Testigo and Musica Ficta labels, among others. As a composer and arranger, he works as an artistic producer in the advertising and film sectors.

After studies at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris and the Universität Wien, Anna Reinhold made her stage debut under the direction of William Christie within his academy Jardin des Voix, followed by numerous engagements with Les Arts Florissants, both in Europe and in America.
She has collaborated with many conductors and ensembles: Leonardo García Alarcón (Cappella Mediterranea), Raphaël Pichon (Pygmalion), Laurence Equilbey (Accentus and Insula Orchestra), Jonathan Cohen (Balearic Islands Simphony Orchestra, Ensemble Arcangelo and Orchestre d’Auvergne), Vincent Dumestre (Le Poème Harmonique), Simon-Pierre Bestion (La Tempête), Ryan Brown (Opéra Lafayette), John Butt (Orchestre d’Edinburgh), Josh van Veldhoven (Bachvereniging), Jonathan Cohen (Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest and Orchestre d’Auvergne), Andrea Marcon (La Cetra Barockorchester Basel), Giovanni Antonini (Il Giardino Armonico), Stephan Macleod (Gli Angeli Genève), Francesco Corti (Les Ambassadeurs)…
In opera, she has performed the title role in L’Italiana in Algeri by Rossini and Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande by Debussy) at the Atelier lyrique de Tourcoing, L’Italiana in Algeri at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Cybèle (Atys by Lully) at the Opéra Royal de Versailles and at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Menesto (Elena by Cavalli) at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Proserpina and Speranza (L’Orfeo) at the Opéra d’Avignon under the direction of Jordi Savall, Pandora (El Prometeo by Draghi) at the Opéra de Dijon, Le Garçon de cuisine (Rusalka) at the Opéra de Massy, Flamel (Fantasio), Adèle and Al Cirbec (Le Mystère de l’écureuil bleu by Marc-Olivier Dupin) at the Opéra Comique, and La Deuxième camériste (Der Zwerg by Zemlinsky) at the Théâtre de Caen.
Particularly appreciated for her interpretations of concert and chamber repertoire, Anna Reinhold has recently performed El amor brujo by De Falla with the Orchestre de Caen and the cantata Phaedra by Britten with the Orchestre régional de Normandie. She is a regular guest at festivals such as Les Musicales de Colmar (Pierrot Lunaire by Schönberg, Wesendonck Lieder by Wagner, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen by Mahler…), the Festival de Kaposvár and the Budapest Festival Academy in Hungary, and the Festival de Cork in Ireland. She has recently performed Phaedra by Britten with the Orchestre régional de Normandie and appears in duo with guitarist and lutenist Quito Gato, in both baroque programs (Lagrime mie) and popular repertoire (Mi corazón espanol).
She also co-founded the ensemble Il Caravaggio with conductor Camille Delaforge.
Anna Reinhold has recorded numerous albums, notably with Raphaël Pichon and Ensemble Pygmalion (Messe en si by Bach), lutenist Thomas Dunford (Labirinto d’Amore), Cappella Mediterranea conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón (Heroines of the Venetian Baroque), Les Arts Florissants under William Christie (N’espérez plus, mes yeux, Bien que l’Amour, Si vous vouliez un jour), and Ensemble Il Caravaggio (Madonna della Grazia).
Anna Reinhold has been represented by RSBA since 2013.
