Sara Gouzy sings Yniold

at the Opéra de Dijon

After having started in 2017 as Amore (Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice), soprano Sara Gouzy returns to the Dijon Opera in the coming days in a more recent and no less significant work in the operatic repertoire, this time as Debussy's Yniold in Pelléas et Mélisande.

She has won numerous awards (Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in 2019, Coop Music awards-Antonio Bertolini in 2018, "Trois Siècles de Romances Classiques" in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) in 2014, Yehudi Menuhin Foundation live music now in Berlin in 2013, Giulio-Perotti in Germany in 2012) and has already performed in Germany at the Weimar Opera (Clotilde in Pollicino by H.W Henze, then Cleopatra in Handel's Giulio Cesare), at Komische Oper Berlin (Europera 5 by John Cage), at Theater Naumburg (title role of Haendel's Susanna), or at Kammeroper München (Flaminia in Haydn's Il Mondo della luna).
In addition to the Opéra de Dijon, Sara Gouzy has already been heard in France at the Opéra d'Avignon in the roles of Soeur Constance (Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites) and Barberina (Le Nozze di Figaro) and will make her debut this season at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, in the role Jano (Janacek's Jenufa).
