Tenor and haute-contre Clément Debieuvre is a graduate of the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles. He was a finalist in 2025 at the competitions of Clermont-Ferrand and Arles, and received the encouragement prize at the Symphonies d’Automne de Mâcon.
In recent years, he has performed under the direction of William Christie, Hervé Niquet, Raphaël Pichon, Leonardo García-Alarcón, Paul Agnew, Sébastien Daucé, György Vashegyi, Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas, Philippe Jaroussky, Martin Wahlberg, and Stéphane Fuget.
Among his notable engagements are his debuts at the Opéra de Paris and at the Teatro Real in Madrid in Médée by Charpentier with Les Arts Florissants and William Christie, David (David et Jonathas by Charpentier) and Arnalta (Le Couronnement de Poppée) at the Opéra royal de Versailles, Linfea (La Calisto by Cavalli) at Angers-Nantes Opéra, Erinda (L’Orfeo by Sartorio) under the direction of Philippe Jaroussky, the title role in Pygmalion by Rameau at the Izumi Hall in Osaka, Ernelinde, princesse de Norvège by Philidor at the Opéra d’Oslo, and L’Athlète and Le Grand Prêtre (Castor et Pollux by Rameau) under the direction of Leonardo García-Alarcón in Namur and Versailles.
He has also performed in the program Sicilien ou l’Amour peintre with Le Concert Spirituel, Celestial Ode by Purcell (Madrid, Versailles, Compiègne) with Les Arts Florissants, L’Orfeo by Monteverdi at the Opéra de Dijon and the Festival de Saint-Michel-en-Thiérache under the direction of Stéphane Fuget, and as Lidio (Nicandro et Fileno by Lorenzani) with Ensemble La Palatine at the Festival de Beaune.
His discography includes David et Jonathas by Charpentier with Les Temps présents (Aparté), Rameau chez la Pompadour (Alpha) with Les Surprises, the Te Deum by Charpentier conducted by Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas (Alpha), the Requiem by Jean Gilles under the direction of Fabien Armengaud (CVS), and the fourth volume of Motets by Lully conducted by Stéphane Fuget (CVS).
Clément Debieuvre has been represented by RSBA since 2024.
