Last February, the young soprano Hélène Carpentier won the first prize of Voix Nouvelles 2018 competition, at the Opéra Comique, during the national final. Among the other 5 winners, two artists from the agency accompanied her: mezzo soprano Eva Zaïcik and tenor Kévin Amiel. A few weeks later, Eva Zaïcik then won a Victoire de la Musique Classique in the category Lyrical Artist Revelation, then the second prize in the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition of Belgium.
In 2018/2019, the winners of Voix Nouvelles will tour France with a series of concerts starting on 24 September 2018 at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (with Hélène Carpentier) and a concert with the Orchestre Colonne conducted by Jean-Yves Ossonce. Thereafter, the various winners will perform, according to their availabilities and in particular by the end of the year at the Opéra de Marseille, the Opéra de Dijon, the Opéra de Toulon, the Opéra, Montpellier, the Opéra de Limoges, the Opéra National de Bordeaux, the Théâtre du Capitole, the Opéra de Lille, the Théâtre impérial de Compiègne, and the Opéra de Reims.. Other upcoming Hélène Carpentier's projects include a "Homage to Gabriel Fauré" program at the Auditorium de Bordeaux, a recital at the 40th anniversary of the Fénétrange festival (with Catherine Trottmann), the roles of Albina in a concert version of La Donna del lago (Rossini) at the Opéra de Marseille, Gabriel (Haydn's Creation) with the Orchestre national de Lorraine conducted by Diego Fasolis, Micaëla (Carmen de Bizet) at the Opéra de Rouen and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, as well as a series of concerts with Insula Orchestra and the Accentus Choir (conducted by Laurence Equilbey) for Mozart's Requiem and Grandval's Messe de Clémence, where she will meet again Eva Zaïcik.
Eva Zaïcik's 2018/2019 season is prolific both at the opera and at the concert; she gives a series of opera arias concerts with the orchestra of the Pays de Savoie (Fribourg, Royaumont, La Grange au lac, Ville la Grand), tour with Handel's Dixit Dominus and Les Arts Florissants, sings the solo alto parts of Mozart's Requiem on European tour with the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées (conductor Philippe Herreweghe), she also sings Rossini's Messa di Gloria at the Opéra de Limoges, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the Poème Harmonique, gives recitals with pianist Romain Louveau at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne (where she is artist in residence) and at the Opéra de Rouen Normandie, concerts with the Taylor Consort (Gosnay, Château de la Groirie, Festival AMUZ de Anvers); she also sings the title role in "La Tragédie de Carmen" at the Théâtre de Compiègne and La Speranza (L'Orfeo de Monteverdi) with I Gemelli at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, as well as Sélysette (Ariane and Barbe-Bleue by Dukas) at the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse.
