Kevin Arboleda-Oquendo will be a member of the Académie de l’Opéra de Paris from the 2026–2027 season and has been entrusted with the role of Frère Jean (Roméo et Juliette by Gounod) on the stage of the Opéra Bastille.
Previously a member of the 12th edition of Jardin des Voix of Les Arts Florissants (under the direction of William Christie and Paul Agnew), he took part in a European concert tour as part of the 2025–2026 season.
During the same season, he was also heard as Lui (Trouble in Tahiti by Bernstein) at the Opéra de Massy and the Philharmonie de Paris with Opera Fuoco, Polifemo (Aci, Galatea e Polifemo by Haendel) with Le Stagioni, and on a concert tour with Jordi Savall and his ensemble Le Concert des Nations.
Born in Medellín, Colombia, he began his vocal studies with Luz María Cuenca and quickly appeared as a soloist in Beethoven’s Neuvième Symphonie, Le Messie by Haendel, and Monteverdi’s Vêpres.
During an Erasmus stay in Belgium, he joined Valérie Guillorit’s class at the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris from 2019 to 2021, before continuing his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he graduated with distinction with a Master’s degree in vocal performance in 2026.
Alongside his studies in voice and organ, Kevin Arboleda has participated in numerous concert tours across Europe and the United States with the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris (conducted by Henri Chalet) and the Capella Reial de Catalunya (conducted by Jordi Savall).
Kevin Arboleda has been represented by RSBA since 2024.
